1Agreement
By creating a Pipdrop account you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where local law requires).
2Your content is yours
You own everything you create in Pipdrop: every pip, recording, transcript, photo, video, tag, reaction, and comment. Pipdrop claims no ownership of your content, ever.
To make the app work, you grant Pipdrop a limited, revocable license to store, copy, transmit, and display your content solely to operate the service for you and the circles you share into: hosting it, syncing it between devices, backing it up, and showing it to the people you've chosen when you choose to share it. This license exists for no other purpose, cannot be used for advertising, marketing, resale, or AI training, and ends when you delete the content or your account.
3Circles and shared content
- Pips you post to a circle are visible to the members of that circle. Pips marked "just me" are not.
- Deleting one of your pips removes it for everyone it was shared with.
- If you leave a circle, you keep the pips you created.
4Acceptable use and objectionable content
Use Pipdrop lawfully. Don't use it to harass or harm anyone, don't attempt to access another person's account or content, and don't attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Pipdrop does not allow content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, threatening, or sexually exploitative, and it does not allow abusive users. You can report any pip or comment and block any user from inside the app (open the ••• menu). We review reports and will remove objectionable content and remove or ban users who post it, without notice where necessary.
5The service
Pipdrop is currently free to use. If optional paid features are added in the future, they will be billed through the Apple App Store under its terms, and content you have already created will never be locked behind a paywall.
Pipdrop is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pipdrop's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or twenty US dollars if you've paid nothing).
6Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, which permanently removes your content from our systems within 30 days. We may discontinue Pipdrop with at least 90 days' notice.
7Changes and contact
If these terms change meaningfully, we'll notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
